1- Arabic – English Translator
Full Time
Dubai, UAE

Job Responsibilities:

1- Ensuring translated texts conveys original meaning and tone
2- Liaise with colleagues to ensure that translations are true to the original meaning.
3- Documenting changes to translated materials
4- Checking dictionaries (UK dictionaries) and encyclopedias for unknown words
5- Management of time to complete documents
6- Relay concepts and ideas between languages.

Job Requirements:

1- Bachelor’s Degree in translation (highly preferred)
2- Excellent Arabic skills and awareness of the language structure.
3- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
4- Knowledge of the translation process, terminology, and localisation techniques
5- Familiarity with localization guidelines and standards
6- A clear writing style with an impeccable knowledge of spelling and grammar
