About Role
1- Assistant Engineer
Full Time
Dubai, UAE
Responsibilities
- Prepare new design and shop drawings of all disciplines (Civil, Architectural, mechanical, electrical & ELV) supporting Fitout activities. Ensuring service coordination across drawings.
- Obtain and assemble data from various sources to complete architectural, MEP, ELV etc. drawings, visiting job sites to compile measurements, explain drawings to production or construction teams and provide adjustments as necessary.
- Coordinate structural, electrical and mechanical designs and determine a method of presentation in order to graphically represent building plans.
- Validate as Built drawings on site and flag to Technical Subject Matter Experts discrepancies for further investigation.
- On time delivery – liaise with Subject Matter Experts and commit to timescales for document production.
Requirements
- Diploma level in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Fitout design drawings, Engineering Design/Drafting.
- Knowledge of relevant local and international standards regulations like UBC, ASHRAE, NFPA etc
- Knowledge of 3D modeling (Software, Sketchup & Revit)
- Knowledge of software including; MS Office,CAD, Photoshop.
