About Role

1- Business Intelligence Manager

Description:

Business intelligence platform in a cloud environment in alignment with business and enterprise IT strategy. Influence business stakeholders by advising and promoting new solutions and support them in creating actionable use cases aligned with business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and deliver long-term strategic goals for data architecture vision and standards in conjunction with data users, department managers, clients, and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead a team of Architecture, Testing and BI project management Analyst to deliver projects in alignment with BI strategy.
  • Create short-term tactical solutions to achieve long-term objectives and an overall data management roadmap.
  • Experience in setting up processes, data strategies and efficient governance models which are aligned with enterprise architecture & organization strategy.
  • Experience in managing large-scale, complex, strategic projects and initiatives. Develop plans, monitor progress, manage risk, and validate expected outcomes.
  • Establish methods and procedures for tracking data quality, completeness, redundancy, and improvement.
  • Conduct data capacity planning, life cycle, duration, usage requirements, feasibility studies, and other tasks.
  • Create strategies and plans for data security, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and archiving.
  • Ensure that data strategies and architectures are in regulatory compliance.
  • Act as BI Program manager to manage and deliver all BI projects successfully.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers to select the products or services that best meet company goals.
  • Managing the transformation project from BI side to migrate existing solutions to cloud technology.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with business leaders to understand the organization’s business strategy and needs to proactively advocate technology solutions to deliver data driven results.
  • Remains current with consumer, industry, and technology trends (adoption, usage, and related trends), the future direction of associated technologies.
  • Support the leadership team in defining and building the BI strategy

Requirements

  • BSC in Computer Science, Engineering Degree, or very relevant field
  •   7+ years of experience in Data Strategy, Data Architecture, Data Management and Data Analytic.
  • Exposure to the retail Industry  is a Great advantage
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of projects in Data Management Domain.
  • Exposure to Oracle Fusion/EBS is a good advantage.
  • Preferable Certifications (PMP, PgMP, COBIT, TOGAF)
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale data modeling, and business requirements gathering/analysis.
  • Direct experience in implementing enterprise data management processes, procedures, and decision support.
  • Strong understanding of relational data structures, theories, principles, and practices.
  • Strong familiarity with metadata management and associated processes.
  • Experience with business requirements analysis, entity relationship planning, database design, reporting structures, and so on.
  • Ability to manage different business stakeholders.
  • Experience with database platforms, including SQL, Oracle. Cloud exposure is mandatory.
  • Extensive knowledge of data manipulation languages (Microsoft SSIS), ETL/ELT (ODI, Alteryx,…) and Data Visualization (Tableau, Power BI, OBIEE)
  • Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
