The Department of Endowments in Dubai established on October 24, 1969, by the decree issued by the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and the Department began to expand gradually until the Law No. (7) Of 1994 on issuing the Endowments and Islamic Affairs, followed by Law No. (2) Of 2011 on issuing the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD), which included the functions and policies of the Department, which based on three axes: charitable work, Islamic affairs, mosques Affairs.

About Role
1- Civil Engineer

Responsibilities
- Participate in the preparation, implementation, follow-up and development of the department’s strategic plan, operational and executive plans.
- Participate in preparing the department’s estimated budget by limiting and specifying the quantities and standard technical specifications necessary for the implementation of works and projects of materials, raw materials, equipment, devices and tools in accordance with the annual budget.
- Follow-up and control of the contractors when concluding construction contracts with them and inspect the progress of work coupled with the project timetable with the preparation of reports on the stages of work.
- Preparing technical reports for mosques under construction in the Emirate of Dubai (Deira, Bur Dubai, rural Dubai, and external areas) for mosques under construction, preparing photo reports and submitting them to the head of the department and addressing consultants with any observations or errors that occur during implementation.
- Adjust and update the electronic files of mosques under construction with any new documents and update the maps of the land within the region.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent in a similar discipline + 4 years experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent in a similar field + 8 years of experience
