Job Description

Handing over projects to contractors in charge of electrical maintenance work for mosques and following up their implementation with them until the necessary electrical work is completed.

Responsibilities:

  • Periodic traffic on mosques to monitor the state of electricity in them, prepare technical reports, make any observations, and follow up on their implementation
  • Preparing assays for electrical works required for mosques, in which the administration wishes to add electrical loads and submit them to the Finance Department to assign companies to them.
  • Study the electrical loads of mosques and ensure that they comply with the approved requirements.
  • Follow up on electrical projects and contracts concluded between the department and electrical companies to implement the needs of mosques.
  • Comprehensive coordination between each of the Department and the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority with regard to all electrical works in it.
  • Study, audit and analyze quotations for electrical works submitted by contractors and submit recommendations to the Finance Department to decide on awarding projects to contractors.
  • Handing over projects to contractors in charge of electrical maintenance work for mosques and following up their implementation with them until the necessary electrical work is completed.
  • Auditing the current and final financial extracts of the electrical projects and submitting them to the Finance Department for the necessary action.
  • Reviewing and auditing the electrical plans of new mosques or mosques to be expanded or any additional works in them.
  • Preparing and preparing any technical reports assigned by the department head or the director of the department
  • Develop technical specifications for electrical works and electrical materials used in the department’s projects.
  • Coordination with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority regarding department accounts and meter numbers.
  • Auditing counters and accounts in mosques and buildings affiliated with the department.
  • Coordination with the energy engineer and the area engineer for the energy rationalization project and the relevant observations in mosques

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in a similar field + 2 years experience
