About Role

Responsibilities
- Engage and cultivate potential clients and grow awareness of Yas Island as a major MICE destination in the region.
- Position Yas Island as the premier destination for business events by leveraging the strengths of the unique tourism offerings.
- Build relationships with key business development stakeholders including the local DMCs, DCT & EH Trade Offices, Convention Bureau and Marriot/Hilton Sales offices.
- Develop & manage the respective business guides & fact sheets on all event spaces.
- Attract and secure high profile/mega corporate meetings and incentive travel groups by bidding to the relevant corporates/organizers. Develop proposals that are compelling/creative, timely and respond to organizer’s needs. Manage the bidding process end-to-end including strategy development, liaison and communications.
- Manage and co-ordinate participation in relevant international tradeshows to generate MICE business leads for the destination and grow channels to drive business events on Yas Island.
- Foster positive relationships and strong links with key local and overseas stakeholders. Work closely with international offices (DCT and EH) and trade/media channels on the identification and development of business.
