1- Frontend Engineer
Full Time
Dubai, UAE

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with product, design and backend engineering teams to assist with project specification, collaboratively devise creative technical solutions to product briefs and provide constructive feedback to design concepts.
  • Build amazing products which will wow our customers, knowing that perfect is the enemy of done, using best practices which are at your fingertips, coding with a view to the long term: changes often can and will happen.
  • Take pride in your work: not only does it do the job, it looks great, it’s a joy to read, it’s tested and performant. Your work will be reviewed, demoed, and you’ll come back to it again to improve it.
  • Bring fresh ideas to the team and help others. Share, pair, teach, review, collaborate and meet up. We hope you’re passionate about what you do and want to share your knowledge and excitement with those around you. 
  • Be a team player. Communicate progress and problems to your teammates, never struggle alone. Offer your assistance where you can, help unblock colleagues and get projects over the line together.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong ability in CSS, CSS-in-JS
  • Experience with design applications such as Sketch or Figma.
  • Experience with building design systems, and shared React components.
  • Keen to work in cross-functional squads with the engineers, product and other teams to iteratively deliver sector-leading digital products.
  • Experience with common front end features such as, authentication, authorization, multi-tenancy, A/B testing, search, theming.
  • Experience reviewing and pairing on code.
  • Good understanding of development best practices such as pair programming, TDD, continuous integration and continuous delivery.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (any subject)
  • Bilingual (Arabic and English), a highly effective communicator at different levels, both oral and in writing.
  • Vast knowledge and experience in dealing with different government offices especially the Ministry of Education and KHDA
  • Be an excellent team player and have effective communication skills
