About Role
1- Global Tax Director
Full Time
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Responsibilities:
- Monitors reporting and planning to ensure compliance with applicable tax statutes.
- Ensures accuracy of tax returns and works to minimize the organization’s tax obligations.
- Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructures.
- Monitor and manage the Group’s Tax risk and Transfer Pricing policies globally.
- Advise business units and Finance teams on indirect tax matters globally.
- Manage VAT compliance in GCC including contracts and VAT implementation as required.
Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field and Accountant/Tax qualification.
- Min. 10-15 years’ Tax experience, gained in advisory and Industry with international tax exposure.
- Requisite experience and knowledge of VAT/indirect taxes impacting the industry.
