Job Responsibilities:

1- Contribute to the development of the CMHS IT strategy, as well as annual business plans.
2- Contribute to the development of the CMHS policies and procedures, in line with the overall business objectives of the University, ensuring they promote leading practices and excellence especially in the area of IT Systems used in Medical Education.
3- Contribute to the development and management of the CMHS IT budgets and report back on a timely basis to ensure that divergences are addressed promptly.
4- Act as Advisor to CMHS IT Management in matters related to Medical Learning Systems and Technologies for Instructional Design.
5- Guide, coordinate, and provide support services related to medical instructional and educational technologies to meet CMHS requirements and service levels, including Learning Management Platform, Collaboration Tools, and Classroom Audio Visual systems and related software
6- Engage with other CMHS departments to provide user friendly, accessible and reliable system solutions that serve the needs of CMHS.

Job Requirements:

1- A Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or equivalent. A Master’s Degree in relevant discipline would be an advantage.
2- A minimum 8 years of progressively responsible professional experience in the IT field.
3- A minimum of 6 years’ experience in Administrating Learning Management Systems in an Academic Environment. Special Emphasis will be given to Systems used in Medical Education.
