About Role
1- Procurement Officer
Full Time
Dubai, UAE
Responsibilities
A- Suggesting and contributing to defining objectives, operational indicators and action plans for all operations related to the implementation of the joint government procurement strategy for approved categories of government procurement and in accordance with market requirements and nature and in accordance with the specified and approved time programs
B- Participate in negotiating contracts and prices for joint government purchases with suppliers in coordination with the relevant committees and in accordance with the specifications specified by the requesting authority and studying them within the approved time frames in this regard
C- Preparing, following up, analyzing and studying various types of reports and data related to the work of the joint government procurement program, identifying and analyzing the challenges facing its implementation processes and making appropriate recommendations regarding them.
D- Follow-up and verify the implementation of all procedures and work steps related to the governance of joint government procurement operations in its various stages, and propose their development in accordance with best practices in this regard.
Requirements
A- Finance or Accounting/Business Administration or any related disciplines
B- (8) years of experience for a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent / (3) years for a master’s degree
