1- Pump Mechanic
Full Time
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Responsibilities:
1- Performs the assigned preventive, corrective and other maintenance services in a related field and ensures the timely completion of the tasks.
2- Analyzes data provided by the controls system, meters, the laboratory, or other Animal Care staff, in order to troubleshoot water quality, flow or other systems problems.
3- Utilizes safe handling, storage and disposal practices for toxic substance and hazardous waste in accordance to company/department’s SOPs and manuals.
4- Maintains cleanliness and organization of all chemical drums, storage areas and workstation.
Job Requirements:
1- Diploma related to the technical field
2- 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
3- 2 years of experience in aquatic life support systems in a zoo, aquarium, or oceanarium setting is a plus
4- Basic English communication skills, verbal/written
5- Working knowledge to all basic hand tools and measuring devices in a related field of expertise
