1- Safety Officer

Dubai, UAE
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing regulations, policy, standards and guidelines to improve health and safety procedures for the school related to the safety and security of students, people and property.
- Provide guidelines on the daily and continuous cleaning and sanitisation requirements for school premises.
- Reporting on vaccination status and the weekly PCR results of unvaccinated staff and encouraging re-vaccination / booster shots if required.
- Undertake fire safety audits, coordinates with the Civil Defense during inspections and other fire & safety issues.
- Conduct and deliver fire safety trainings and orientations to all newly hired employees and conducts refresher’s course on an annual basis to all employees and maintain records of attendees.
- Identifies potential safety or fire hazards; takes action or makes recommendations to eliminate hazard during regular inspection rounds.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as Health and Safety Officer with NEBOSH/IOSH CERTIFICATION
- Knowledge of the principles of safety, accident, and fire prevention.
- Ability to maintain composure and respond properly during emergencies.
- Knowledge of regulatoryl policies, procedures, rules and regulations
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety.
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
