About Role
1- Security Engineer
Full Time
Dubai, UAE
Responsibilities
- Support and administrate different security devices (SonicWall,Fortinet,etc.) in line with IT security policy
- Perform vulnerability and networking scanning assessments
- Switching (VLans, STP, trucking etc.) and general networking
- Understanding of IP routing, TCP/IP ports and services
- Solid understanding of the Linux OS and its underlying components
- Monitoring of web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls, endpoint security
- Hands-on experience on Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP & Server hardware technologies
Requirements
- 3 -5 years of experience in Security Engineer Role where involved in designing secure networks, systems and application architectures
- Detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security
- Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
- Experience in planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards and procedures
- Good Communication & Report Writing Skills.
