About Role
1- Senior Software Dev Engineer
Full Time
Dubai, UAE
Responsibilities
- Work with security engineers and product managers in developing a strategy and road map to provide secure solutions for our customers.
- Work closely with senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.
- Instill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
- Project management – prioritization , planning of projects and features, Stakeholder management and tracking of external commitments
- Operational Excellence – monitoring & operation of production services
- Can read interpret and describe the functionality of electrical drawings (circuit and wiring diagrams/schematic and layout drawings) irrespective of manufacturer.
- Can correctly setup and use electrical test equipment and interpret the test results include Digit.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- 2+ years of experience contributing to security in architecture and design (data flow, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of existing and new systems
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and object-oriented design skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of experience designing and implementing web services with active experience in security engineering
