Job Description
The tax specialist’s responsibilities include preparing all tax compliance, assisting in audits, and responding to tax correspondence. Ultimately, a top-notch tax specialist should have strong analytical skills, pay attention to detail, and the ability to manage your time efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Compliance with local and foreign laws of Zakat and other types of taxes; Income, WHT, Excise for NADEC entities.
- Manages Zakat for the Company and its branches or subsidiaries in KSA or out of KSA wherever applicable.
- Identifies and supports achieving zakat and tax savings across NADEC.
- Finalize Zakat, withholding tax and indirect tax returns.
- Correct value of provision in books.
- Provides timely, comprehensive Value Added Tax support and training to the business functions.
- Supports tax manager for zakat and tax audits.
- Leads compliance with records retention requirements as per zakat and tax rules and regulations across countries.
- Timely submission of CIF (Contract information forms).
- Reconciliation for Customs Bayans, GOSI and other required movements as per tax authority requirements.
- Actively suggests and develops process improvement opportunities and controls in the system for ensuring tax compliance and safeguarding NADEC from any penalties.
- Liaison with external consultant and ensure taking timely advice for any new legislation update.
- Validates data and analysis for accuracy and relevance.
- Maintain accurate supporting and records for returns filed and account movement reconciliations..
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or any related field
