Job Responsibilities:

1- Administer and monitor underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and rating annual rules. 
2- Develop, maintain & collaborate with Line of Business representatives on referrals and other business-related needs, as appropriate. 
3- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors (agents & brokers) in support of business retention and acquisition and works with customers and distributors (agents & brokers) to determine their insurance related needs and provide solutions.
4- Supports the sales culture by being a Help Point for agents, brokers and customers. 
5- Complete detailed opportunity assessment with key distributors to identify growth opportunities.
6- Cross-Sell other lines of business to increase product density with the account.

Job Requirements:

1- Bachelor’s Degree  or Equivalent and 5 or more years of London market experience in the Underwriting or Market Facing area. 
2- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to a non-technical audience. 
3- Strong negotiation skills
4- Ability to effectively assess risk. Required: Strong knowledge of underwriting philosophy, techniques, national/local filing, regulations and guidelines. 
5- Solid knowledge of processing methods and workflow procedures, and basic knowledge of insurance underwriting and regulations for assigned territories.
